What attributes do kids associate with the different devices they use to watch content?
Nickelodeon Kids & Family GPS recently launched Connected Kids, an ongoing online study that will provide an in-depth look at how global kids 4 to 11 are consuming TV and video content. The goal of this project is to understand children’s viewing behavior in this fast-changing media environment.
A new infographic emerging from this study reveals the key words that kids pair with the various viewing devices. It shows that kids associate TV primarily with ease of use (64% say it’s the easiest device). Kids see tablets as the most portable and personal (57% say it’s the most portable, 48% say it’s the closest at hand, 44% say it’s the most personal device).
