Media devices are commonplace among kids in Northern Europe, according to “My Media, My Ads,” a new study by Nickelodeon Kids and Family GPS. Kids in Belgium, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Poland and Sweden have access to an average of 4.4 devices and 7.1 screens at home, and many have devices of their own for personal consumption. If parents were to put together a media plan for their kids, 54% of the commercials would be on television and the rest would be divided across computers, tablets, smartphones, and gaming consoles.
